Central America with solid growth forecast

Solid growth forecast in Central America

In its Global Economic Prospects Report 2018, published today, the World Bank has tabled interesting growth figures for the Central American economies.

Nicaragua appears to be the leading growth country in the coming years with expected real GDP growth in excess of 4% for the years until 2020.

We believe that this growth will translate in particular in a rising middle class with an increase in consumer, retail and health spending and an increase in construction and infrastucture projects.
